Fenerbahce are lining up a move for Arsenal winger Joel Campbell, according to Futbolarena.com.
The Turkish website reports that the Yellow Canary have targeted Campbell as one of four potential signings this summer, and they will look to start negotiations with Arsenal in order to bring the Costa Rican international to Istanbul.
The 25 year old has had a number of loans away from the Emirates over the past few years, but his latest spell with Sporting Lisbon last season was one of the least successful.
The Portuguese club reportedly had an option to buy Campbell at the end of his loan period with the team, but Sporting opted against triggering their clause to purchase the player.
Last campaign, Campbell made 29 appearances for Sporting in all competitions, but made just eleven starts, scoring three goals and providing four assists.
He doesn’t seem to have much of a future at the Gunners with manager Arsene Wenger seeking a deal to sign left winger Thomas Lemar from Monaco, whilst also having a number of other options in wide areas.
