Wojciech Szczesny is reportedly close to agreeing a £14million move to Serie A giants Juventus this summer.
The 27-year-old shot-stopper has completed his second season-long loan at Roma where he has excelled and reportedly gained interest from Napoli, AC Milan and Inter.
Juventus now appear to have entered the race for the Poland international, who is thought to be interested in a move to the Turin club to replace the long-serving veteran Gianluigi Buffon.
Szczesny only has a year left remaining on his current Arsenal deal but has yet to commit his future to the Gunners.
However, Szczesny’s agent, David Manasseh, has told the Polish media that the goalkeeper is set to talk to Arsene Wenger over his role at the club before finalising a deal with Juventus:
‘There is still no agreement with Juventus. Szczesny has yet to talk with Wenger, who has been confirmed as Arsenal coach for the next two years.’
Petr Cech looks set to continue as Arsenal’s number one next season, meaning Szczesny will more than likely seal a permanent move away from the Emirates rather than play second fiddle to the former Chelsea goalkeeper.
David Ospina could also be off this summer with Fenerbahce expressing an interest in the Colombian, which could see Wenger explore the market and bring in a new back-up goalkeeper.
