Arsenal will allow striker Lucas Perez to leave if they receive an offer for around €15m or £13m, according to Mundo Deportivo.

It would mean the Gunners will have to take a £4m hit on the player they signed for £17m from Deportivo La Coruna just one year ago. With the player’s lack of game time, it seems like there is agreement among all parties that the 28 year old would be best served leaving the Emirates.

Mundo Deportivo say Perez wants to return to Spain, and although he has received offers from other Premier League clubs, he is adamant on a return to La Liga before the end of the summer.

Arsenal’s asking price could prove problematic for Spanish clubs though. The teams that could afford the player; Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are not interested, according to Mundo Deportivo, and the player’s agent has revealed that Sevilla have not made contact regarding signing Perez.

This leaves Perez’s former club Deportivo who would struggle to afford the transfer fee, and would likely request a loan deal, with the other likely alternatives being Valencia and Villarreal.
