Arsenal have made a “big offer” for Nice left back/winger Dalbert, according to GianlucaDiMarzio.com.
The Italian website report that Inter Milan have been targeting the Brazilian, but may now face competition from the Gunners who are looking to strengthen their left hand side.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has already signed one left back in Sead Kolasinac from Schalke on a free transfer this summer but it seems the Frenchman is looking for further depth in the position.
Dalbert is 23 years of age, and played a key role in helping Nice to a third place finish in Ligue One last campaign. He played 38 times, providing four assists, and his ability to play either as a full back or as a winger may have piqued Wenger’s interest; especially if Arsenal persist with a three man backline next season.
Much may depend on whether Arsenal can offload some of their full backs. Kieran Gibbs will be allowed to leave the Emirates this summer, while Nacho Monreal has been heavily linked with a return to Spain with Athletic Bilbao, although the Spaniard has declared his intention to stay with the Gunners.
