Manchester United and Arsenal have joined Juventus in the race to sign Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Blaise Matuidi, according to Foot01.com.

The French international has one year left on his contract and is unlikely to stay at the Ligue One club. Juve were believed to be the favourites to land the 30 year old but it seems both the Gunners and United have now entered the running as well.

With PSG resigned to losing Matuidi this summer, Foot01 report they are pleased that two Premier League clubs are now involved in the bidding. A €15million fee was being suggested for his proposed transfer to Juventus but this may now rise with more clubs looking to sign the midfielder.

For his part, it seems Matuidi is keener on a move to the Premier League rather than to Italy. He has been an integral part of PSG’s side since he arrived from Saint-Etienne for £6.8m in 2011. Over the past six years, he has made 292 appearances, scoring 33 goals and making 30 assists.
