Arsenal are looking at the possibility of signing Monaco right back Djibril Sidibe this summer, according to L’Equipe. The Gunners are also said to be interested in his team mates Kylian Mbappe and Thomas Lemar.
The Gunners previously attempted a last ditch bid to sign the defender before he joined Monaco from Lille last year, but it seems they will also have other competition this time around with Tottenham and Manchester City in the market for a right back.
The French international was an integral part of Monaco’s Ligue One title win, as well as their run to the Champions League semi-final. He played 47 games last season, scoring three goals and providing eight assists.
Arsenal’s interest is most likely dependent on the future of first choice full back Hector Bellerin. The Spaniard has been heavily linked to Barcelona and if the 22 year old’s head is turned, it seems like manager Arsene Wenger has already lined up his preferred replacement.
