Inter technical director Walter Sabatini has confirmed that Sampdoria forward Patrik Schick is almost certain to move to Serie A Champions Juventus this summer. The Czech Republic international has been linked to Arsenal and a host of other European clubs in recent months.

Asked by Italian publication La Signora in Giallorosso (translated by Football-Italia.net) about whether there was a possibility Schick could still join Inter, Sabatini replied:

“Schick to Inter? I think he’s gone to Juventus.”

The 21 year old has a €25m (£22m) release clause in his contract which Juve are reportedly willing to activate. The Bianconeri were believed to want the striker to return on loan to Sampdoria after signing the player but it seems that he may move permanently to Turin instead for the start of next season.

Schick only moved from Sparta Prague to Serie A for £3.4million last summer. He scored 13 goals and provided five assists in 35 games in all competitions during his first season in Italy.
