Things are not looking good for Arsenal at the moment, and it is now being reported that Laurent Koscielny is being chased by Marseille and Manchester City.
The 31-year-old Frenchman is arguably the Gunners’ best defender, but their consistent failure to challenge for the Premier League title could tempt him to leave the Emirates this summer.
French TV programme Telefoot (via The Sun), the Arsenal centre-back is on Marseille’s wishlist as the Ligue 1 club prepare to sign high-profile players during the summer transfer window.
Marseille have already signed Dimitri Payet from West Ham in January, as well as Patrice Evra from Juventus, and have been linked with a move Olivier Giroud as well in recent weeks.
Pep Guardiola is also set to spend big this summer and his make a major reshuffle to his defence, with Koscielny said to be on his radar.
Koscielny has recently penned a new deal at Arsenal, so it remains to be seen whether he would be open to a move away from the Emirates.
Arsene Wenger, however, will be keen to keep the Frenchman put and reluctant to sell the defender this summer.
