Arsenal looked to have cooled their interest in Juventus midfielder Mario Lemina.

A couple of weeks ago, the Evening Standard reported that the Gunners were lining up a £20m bid for the 23 year old but it seems an offer is not as imminent as previously believed. Standard journalist James Olley is now reporting that he is just one of a number of players that Arsene Wenger is considering.

The Gabonese international’s style of play has been compared to Paul Pogba but he has yet to make the same impact as the Frenchman at Juve. He has spent the last two seasons in Italy after initially joining from Marseille on loan in the summer of 2015.

In his first season at the club, Lemina made just eight starts and 13 appearances in all. After joining permanently for £8.3m last season, he was given slightly more game time by manager Max Allegri, playing 28 matches in all competitions, making 11 starts.
