Arsenal are set to miss out on Sampdoria forward Patrik Schick with the Gazzetta Dello Sport reporting that Juventus have agreed a €25million deal for the 21 year old.

The Czech Republic international has impressed during his first season in Serie A, scoring 11 goals in 31 league matches. Along with the Gunners, Roma, Napoli, Inter Milan, Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund had all been tracking the the player, but La Gazzetta state that his move to Turin will be confirmed after the Champions League final on Saturday week.

The newspaper reports Juventus CEO Giuseppe Marotta contacted Sampdoria a few days ago to wrap up the transfer, agreeing to activate the €25million release clause in Schick’s contract.

Sampdoria are set to make a huge profit after the Italian side paid Sparta Prague just £3.4m for the striker last summer. It will complete a remarkable rise for the Czech star, having been sent out on loan to Bohemians Prague by Sparta last campaign.
