Arsenal and Everton are interested in signing Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Thorgan Hazard, according to Jeunesfooteux.com.
The website report that the Belgian international would “not be against the idea” of moving back to England, where he previously played for Chelsea alongside his brother Eden. They say an €18million fee could be enough to land the 24 year old this summer.
Hazard has had a very good season in the Bundesliga despite Gladbach’s struggles in the league. In 33 matches in all competitions this campaign, the attacking midfielder has scored 11 goals and provided seven assists.
For the majority of the season, the Belgian has either played as a number 10 or off the left wing, very much like his brother. During his three years with Chelsea between 2012 and 2015 though, he did not play for the first team once, being loaned out to Belgian side Zulte Waregem and Gladbach before moving to Germany permanently for £6million in July 2015.
