Honours even at the Emirates today as Arsenal drew 2-2 with Manchester City.

So here are my Arsenal player ratings from that game:

David Ospina – The Colombian was the busier of the two goalkeepers and kept the Gunners in the game at times with some fine saves. 7/10

Hector Bellerin – Had a good battle with Leroy Sane, who got the better of the Spaniard to open the scoring. 5/10

Shkodran Mustafi – Started off a bit sluggish and positioning wasn’t up to scratch. Did better defensively in the second 45 and also scored a header to level the game 2-2. 6.5/10

Laurent Koscielny – Like Mustafi, the Frenchman was run ragged in the first 20 minutes or so and lost his bearings at time. Was substituted at the start of the second-half due to injury. 5/10

Nacho Monreal – Looked like a lost sheep at times and really struggled to keep position defensively. Lucky to have not conceded a last min penalty with what looked like a blatant handball. 4.5/10

Granit Xhaka – Sprayed some decent long balls about and got booked, again. 5/10

Francis Coquelin – Got booked early on and was bossed by City’s midfield. 5/10

Alexis Sanchez – Tried his best to get things going upfront for the Gunners but to no avail unfortunately. Played more as a left-wing back than an attacker to help Monreal. 6.5/10

Mesut Ozil – Got some decent balls into the box from free-kicks and corners, one of which Mustafi converted. Other than that, the German was pretty poor. 5/10

Theo Walcott– Bagged Arsenal’s equaliser to level 1-1 but faded as the game wore on. Was replaced by Giroud just after the hour mark. 6/10

Danny Welbeck – Ran his socks off to put pressure on City’s back-line but never had a clear opportunity on goal whilst playing in the centre-forward role. 6/10

SUBS:

Gabriel – Replaced Koscielny at the start of the second-half and did ok alongside Mustafi. 5/10

Olivier Giroud – On for Walcott. Most notably thing he done was being offside. No threat whatsoever. 5/10

Alex Iwobi – Came on for Welbeck with about 15 mins to go, but didn’t have enough time to get into the flow of things. 5/10
