Alexis Sanchez is keen on a move to Chelsea this summer, according to reports.

The 28-year-old has yet to agree a new deal with the Gunners with his current contract set to expire at the end of next season, fuelling speculation that he could be on his way out of Arsenal this summer.

Several top European clubs have been linked with a move for the Chilean forward, including Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus, Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan, but the Daily Telegraph claim that he has put Chelsea on top of his wish-list.

Reports in France have also stated that Chelsea have also approached Sanchez’s representatives over a potential move to Stamford Bridge this summer, with the Chile international recently saying that he wants to remain in London and play for a ‘winning team’, but didn’t mention Arsenal.

The Sun suggests Sanchez sees Antonio Conte as the type of manager to deliver the forward what he requires, with the Chelsea boss also labelling him a ‘top player’.

Reaching personal terms with Sanchez will be relatively easy for Chelsea, although Arsenal will be highly reluctant to sell Sanchez to their rivals. However, it has happened in the past with Robin van Persie moving to Manchester United and other players such as Samir Nasri, Ashley Cole and Bacary Sagna also doing the same over the years.

Sanchez will have 12 months left to run on his contract this summer and although Wenger has said that the player will honour his contract, the Frenchman risks losing him on a free next summer rather than making a profit on his potential sale this one.

Losing Sanchez would be a huge blow to Arsenal, but if he is unwilling to commit to the club then many believe it would be best for him to move on, myself included.
