Well it looks like Arsenal are yet again aiming for a top four finish and possibly another FA Cup triumph this season.

The Gunners are seemingly out of the Premier League title race after losing to Liverpool last Saturday and seeing Chelsea defeat West Ham last night, putting them 16 ahead of Arsene Wenger’s side and 10 from second-placed Tottenham. They will also be thrown out of the Champions League tonight unless they produce a miracle and beat Bayern Munich tonight at the Emirates 4-0 – not going to happen.

The only chance of silverware for Arsenal this season once again is the FA Cup, oh, and of course the ‘trophy’ for finishing in the top four of the Premier League.

However, having suffered a 3-1 loss to Liverpool at Anfield last Saturday, Arsenal have fallen out of the top four and currently sit in fifth place, two points adrift of Jurgen Klopp’s side but have a game in hand.

But several Arsenal fans believe this could be the season that the Gunners drop out of their regular top four finish. But will they?

After the Liverpool loss, I asked via Twitter if Arsenal will finish in the top four this season, with the options for an answer being ‘yes’, ‘no’ and ‘don’t care’, and here were the results of that poll. 41 votes were cast and 17% believe they will finish in the top four, while 41% said no they won’t with the don’t care option also received 41%.

Sections of the Arsenal faithful want a change at the club, and they believe this can happen if Wenger fails to deliver a top four spot this season.
