Martin Keown believes Arsenal will earn a point a against Liverpool at Anfield this Saturday.

The Gunners make the trip to Merseyside tomorrow to take on Liverpool who have been in poor form as of late.

Jurgen Klopp’s side have picked up just four points from their last five Premier League matches and were well beaten by Leicester City earlier in the week.

Arsenal have also struggled in recent weeks and this is why Keown can’t see anything but the spoils being shared this weekend.

He told the Daily Mail:

“I can see this being a 1-1 draw.

“While Arsenal have struggled on the road against teams at the top, Liverpool have been on a bad run.

“You do not go to Anfield and win easily.

“Liverpool look like strangers away from home but Anfield will give them that steel again.

“Arsenal have struggled away from home against their top-six rivals and when you go to Anfield it is all about trying to ride out the storm.”

The Gunners currently occupy fourth position while Liverpool are in fifth spot, just one point behind Arsene Wenger’s side.

Both sides will be desperate for the win and can gain an advantage over the other with all three points on Saturday.

Earlier in the week, Aaron Ramsey claimed Arsenal can still catch Chelsea and challenge for the title. If he truly believes this, then this is a match Arsenal cannot afford to lose.

Liverpool beat Arsenal 4-3 in the opening game of the season at the Emirates back in August – hopefully the game on Saturday it is as exciting as their previous meeting, with the Gunners coming out on top this time.
