Cristiano Ronaldo has told the Real Madrid hierarchy to sign Portugal teammate and Arsenal target Andre Silva from Porto.

The 21-year-old has been in fine form for club and country this season, scoring 20 goals in 36 appearances for the Porto, and netting five in six for Portugal.

A number of top European clubs, including Arsenal, are believed to be keeping tabs on the promising forward, but Italian publication Sportmediaset (via talkSPORT) now claim Ronaldo is urging Real Madrid to lure him to the Bernabeu this summer.

It’s believed that Real boss Zinedine Zidane is considering adding more firepower to his attack next season and see Silva as an ideal target, while Arsenal are monitoring the striker as a possible replacement for Alexis Sanchez, whose future at the Emirates remains in limbo.

Silva will undoubtedly be one the names you will see pop up a lot this summer, even more so if he continues his impressive form for club and country for the remainder of the season.
