Arsenal target Naby Keita is expected to stay at RB Leipzig next season after sporting director Ralph Rangnick revealed the player has no release-clause in his contract.

The 22-year-old midfielder has been in impressive form for RB Leipzig this season, helping the newly-promoted German club climb to second place in the Bundesliga.

Due to his performances this season, Keita has been linked with a summer move to Arsenal and Liverpool, while Bayern Munich are also believed to be interested.

However, Rangnick is adamant that Keita will be at RB Leipzig next season, despite increasing interest in the Guinea international.

Rangnick told Sport 1 (via talkSPORT):

“He has no release-clause in his contract. No one knows whether he will play with us for another three or four years – but he is very likely to play with us next season.

“I know nothing about interest from Bayern. Naby is an extraordinary player who could play in any top European league.”

Keita, who is contracted to RB Leipzig until summer 2020, has started 20 Bundesliga games so far this season, scoring four goals and creating a further seven.

With Jack Wilshere’s future in doubt, as well as Granit Xhaka being linked with a move to Bayern this summer, Arsenal could be in the market for a midfielder this summer. But they will have to look elsewhere by the looks of it.
