It’s claimed that with the Arsenal pair entering their final year of their current deal, the club are willing to listen to offers and expect to recoup around £75million in transfer fees for Arsenal to utilize over the summer.
A number of top European clubs, including the likes of Juventus, Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid, Paris Saint-German and newly Chelsea, have all reportedly been keeping a close eye on Sanchez’s contract situation. Arsenal will highly unlikely allow the Chilean to join their London rivals, but the other clubs mentioned have a good chance of landing the 28-year-old this summer, should he not commit to a new deal before the end of the season.
As for Ozil, the German playmaker has endured a torrid time from sections of the Emirates faithful and pundits alike since joining Arsenal from Real Madrid in 2013 for £42.5million. He too will have a year remaining on his contract at the end of the season and Arsenal would rather cash in on the midfielder rather than lose him on a free the following summer.
