Paris Saint-Germain will not allow midfielder Marco Verratti to leave for less than €80million (£68.5m) according to Sport.
The Spanish newspaper say that PSG are reluctant to let the Italian international leave the club but Barcelona are aware that they may have a chance if they offer close to the estimated asking price.
Arsenal have also been linked with the 24 year old in recent months as they seek a long term replacement for Santi Cazorla in central midfield, and to improve their options in the middle of the park.
The huge price tag may prompt the Gunners to seek alternatives, but Sport reports, Barcelona and their bitter rivals Real Madrid are continuing their pursuit of the midfielder.
The Italian has scored two goals, and provided six assists in 28 matches this season, and he was one of the standout performers when PSG faced Barcelona in the Champions League last month. A performance which may have increased their determination to land the player.
