Arsenal will prepare to launch a bid for Juventus striker Paulo Dybala, but only if Massimiliano Allegri replaces Arsene Wenger this summer, reports talkSPORT.com.
The Juve boss is reportedly the leading candidate to succeed Wenger at the Emirates Stadium, with the Frenchman’s contract set to expire over the summer.
Dybala was understood to be on Arsenal’s radar before joined Juventus from Palermo. It is now thought that if Allegri is named as the new Arsenal manager, the Italian will attempt to bring the Argentine with him.
Dybala is fast become one of Europe’s finest strikers and has flourished under Allegri at Juventus.
Allegri will be hoping that he could persuade the Argentina international. However, reports have suggested that the Italian manager would prefer the Barcelona job over the possibility of taking over Wenger at Arsenal.
Arsenal could be looking to sign a new striker this summer, with Alexis Sanchez reportedly ready to call it quits this summer at the Emirates.
