Arsenal and Chelsea scouts were in attendance to watch Wolves’ forward Helder Costa, reports the Daily Mirror.
Wolves hosted and beat Rotherham 1-0 yesterday afternoon where Costa started. But the 23-year-old was not able to add to his goal tally after having a first-half penalty saved and eventually replaced on the 66th minute.
The Championship outfit signed Costa on a permanent deal in January from Benfica for £13million having impressed when on loan from the Portuguese club.
But super-agent Jorge Mendes is understood to be orchestrating a bigger move for Costa, one to the Premier League for around £20million this summer.
Costa has been a regular for Wolves this season, staring 27 of their 35 Championship games, scoring eight goals and creating a further six.
Arsenal could be looking to add a new forward to their attack, especially if Alexis Sanchez decides to call it quits at the Emirates at the end of the season.
