Manchester United are the latest club to be linked with a move for Torino striker Andrea Belotti after Transfer Market Web revealed that the player has been “thoroughly scouted” by the Red Devils.

The 23 year old has been associated with a host of top European clubs, including Arsenal and Real Madrid, in recent months. Belotti was reportedly the subject of a €65million by Arsenal in the January transfer window after Sporting Director Gianluca Petrachi confirmed a bid had been placed by the Gunners.

It was an offer which was denied by Arsenal, and Belotti would later go on to sign a new deal until 2021 with a buyout clause of €98million. The goals have however continued to flow for the forward with 19 in 24 appearances in all competitions this season.

Last week, Italian media reported Real Madrid Florentino Perez was keen to meet Torino president Urbano Cairo to discuss a deal for Belotti, and it now seems United have stepped up their interest in the player as well.
