Everton have joined the race to sign Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain from Arsenal this summer, reports the Daily Mirror.

The newspaper suggests Ronald Koeman is an admirer of the 23-year-old midfielder, who will have just one year remaining on his Arsenal contract at the end of the season.

Manchester City are also understood to be keen on the England international’s services, with Pep Guardiola impressed by the playmaker’s display against Bayern Munich in the Champions League two-and-a-half years ago.

Koeman will reportedly have a big transfer budget at his disposal this summer as he looks to put his mark on the Merseyside club.

Although Oxlade-Chamberlain has featured regularly for Arsene Wenger’s side in recent weeks, in October, the midfielder revealed he will consider his options available to him this summer, as he looks for regular first-team football.

Oxlade-Chamberlain has started 17 of his 33 appearances for Arsenal this season, scoring five goals and creating seven along the way.
