“At the moment he seems to be doing well with his fitness – and if there is a chance to sign him in the summer – I am sure Pep will give it real consideration.”

Wilshere has yet to open contract talks with over a new deal to keep the 25 year old at the Emirates. At the end of the season, he will have just 12 months left on his current deal and Guardiola may see it as a perfect time to try and make a move for the midfielder.
