Arsenal winger Aaron Eyoma has joined Dutch Jupiler League side FC Volendam on loan for the rest of the season, the club have announced.

The 19 year old has not played for the Gunners first team but has featured for the club in both the Under 23 side and the UEFA Youth League this campaign.

He has made one appearance in Premier League 2, coming on as a substitute in the 5-0 loss against Everton Under 23s back in September. The midfielder then made another appearance from the bench against Ludogorets in the UEFA Youth League in the 1-1 draw at the start of November. He was subsequently named on the bench for the following two group stage matches.

After failing to make the squad on numerous occasions for the Under 23s, the opportunity to play competitively in the Netherlands should provide Eyoma with some much needed experience. Volendam are currently third in the second division and are competing for promotion to the Eredivisie.
