Arsenal could FINALLY land Karim Benzema this summer after latest reports suggest Real Madrid are weighing up a move for Sergio Aguero.
The Manchester City striker has previously been linked with a move to the La Liga giants but a move never materialized, while Benzema’s future at the club appears to be in jeopardy once again.
Arsene Wenger is known to be a keen admirer of his fellow countryman and when asked earlier in the week why Benzema continues to be linked with Arsenal, the Gunners boss simply replied ‘because he’s French’.
And while the Real striker claims he is happy at Real and wants to stay put, Transfermarketweb.com say that he could be moved on to potentially make way for Aguero this summer. The report also says that Benzema could possibly head back to France if he leave Real but, should he become available, there is no doubt that Wenger will register his interest in the 29-year-old.
