Arsenal are continuing to watch Torino striker Andrea Belotti, according to Tuttomercatoweb.

The Italian website say they believe scouts from the Gunners were expected to be at the Artemio Franchi stadium last night for Fiorentina’s match against Torino to see the Italian international.

If they were present, they would have been impressed by what they saw. Torino went 2-0 down after goals from Riccardo Saponara and Nikola Kalinic, but after missing a penalty, Belotti scored two second half goals to salvage a point for Sinisa Mihaljovic’s side.

The forward has been in excellent form this season with 21 goals in 26 appearances in all competitions. The Gunners have been heavily linked with the 22-year-old ever since Torino’s Sporting Director Gianluca Petrachi revealed that they had received a €65million bid from Arsenal.

The offer was denied by Arsenal, and Belotti eventually signed a new contract with a reported buyout clause of €100million. That has however not stopped reports of the Gunners’ interest in the player.
