The Spanish newspaper say that Barca sporting director has been a fan of the player since his time at Monaco, and only signed his team mate, and fellow left back Lucas Digne last summer after failing to land the 24 year old.

Kurzawa has been reportedly tracked by the Gunners, as well as by and Real Madrid, over the past year and while Barcelona’s interest has also been long standing, Sport say that Fernandez could well make an attempt to sign the player in the near future.

No doubt the player would have impressed onlooking Barca officials in Paris Saint-Germain’s 4-0 win over the Catalan club last night. Although finished his second goal superbly with a long range shot, Kurzawa was credited with an assist for the goal after making the last pass to the Argentinian.
