Arsenal’s final Premier League position will decide whether Alexis Sanchez will remain at the club, according to The Sun.
The 28-year-old Chilean is reportedly being chased by a number of top European clubs, including Paris Saint-Germain and Atletico Madrid, as he has yet to sign a new deal at the Emirates.
With under 17 months lefts to run on his existing deal, Sanchez’s future at Arsenal has been in thrown into doubt as reports claim he is seeking wage demands between £250,000-300,000-a-week.
However, it’s now being suggested that the forward will wait after the season concludes to see where Arsenal finish before deciding on his future, with French reporter Loic Tanzi reportedly informing Paris Saint-Germain of the Chile international’s current situation.
Arsene Wenger has previously insured Arsenal fans that Sanchez will remain at the club even if he doesn’t sign a new deal. However, money talks, and should Arsenal receive a huge offer for their striker, it will certainly be considered.
