Carl Jenkinson has yet to leave the because no club has agreed to his wage demands, according to manager Arsene Wenger.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference yesterday, the boss revealed the 24 year old has not been able to agree personal terms:

“As I said in the last press conference, only he has to agree personal terms. But at the moment, he has not managed to do that.”

It has been widely reported that were the closest club to signing Jenkinson with Wenger describing a reporter’s comments that a move to the Eagles was likely as “well-informed.”

With only days left in the window, it is not looking like any club will snap up Jenkinson unless a compromise can be made on his wages before Tuesday.

Wenger also revealed he is prepared to allow another right back to leave as he feels centre back can provide sufficient cover for Hector Bellerin in the position when called upon if the Spaniard is absent through injury or suspension.
