Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri has revealed he has no intention of replacing Arsene Wenger at Arsenal.

It was reported last month by The Sun that the Italian was keen to succeed Wenger, whose current contract at Arsenal expires at the end of the season.

The 49-year-old admits he is learning English but insists he is happy at Juventus and is not heading to Arsenal this summer.

Quoted in Italian publication La Gazzetta dello Sport (as reported by Metro), Allegri said on the link to Arsenal:

‘It’s true, I’m studying English, but certainly not to go to Arsenal.

‘I’m fine here at Juventus.

‘The funny thing is that I have been to London on holiday with my daughter, and on the same day I arrived in England there was a photo of me in The Sun.

‘If Juventus are going to change their coach, just let me know.’

Allegri joins a growing list of potential successors to Wenger, with Bournemouth’s Eddie Howe and RB Leipzig’s Ralph Hasenhuttl also linked with the job.

Wenger admitted last month that he is in no rush to sign a new deal and may wait until spring to decide whether to remain in charge of Arsenal, while the club have reportedly tabled a new two-year contract to the Frenchman.
