More reports have surfaced that Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata could be set to leave the Bernabeu at the end of the season.

Karim Benzema continues to be picked ahead of Morata in the first-team by manager Zinedine Zidane, and calciomercato.com are reporting the Spaniard is becoming nostalgic for his time at Juventus.

It would be a bizarre turn of events if Morata did return to Italy. He joined Juve originally from Real in 2014 before the Spanish club triggered a €30 million buy-back clause in his contract to return to Spain last summer.

A return back to Italy would not be totally out of the question as the Italian side tried hard to keep him last summer, but a switch to the Premier League would perhaps be more likely due to the transfer fee the striker would command.

Arsenal have been consistently associated with a move for Morata, even in recent weeks, but it likely any interest would depend on the future of Alexis Sanchez. Talks over a new deal for the Chilean are believed to be still ongoing but there appears to have been no breakthrough yet.
