Paris Saint-Germain are preparing to launch a £60 million bid for Alexis Sanchez, according to reports in France.

The Chile international, 28, has entered the final 18 months of his existing deal at Arsenal and is yet to agree an extension beyond summer 2018.

French publication Maxifoot now claim the Ligue 1 club are ready to Arsene Wenger’s resolve over the summer and make a huge offer for Sanchez’s services.

Clubs in China are reportedly interested in the forward and are prepared to offer him gargantuan wages to join the CSL.

Reports last week suggested PSG director of football Patrick Kluivert is trying to lure Sanchez to Paris and are not afraid to splash the cash having signed Julian Draxler from Wolfsburg for £38 million.

Sanchez has enjoyed a productive season so far for the Gunners, but his latest temper tantrums on the pitch have been a cause for concern for some. He was visibly frustrated after the 3-3 draw to Bournemouth last week and questions were then raised over his future once again.

It is thought that Sanchez is holding out for £300,000-a-week to remain at the club and Arsenal have only offered him £180,000-a-week.

The quicker this situation is resolved the better for everyone.

Inter Milan, Manchester City and Juventus have also been linked with Sanchez, and Arsenal should expect offers for their star man this summer, if he hasn’t signed a new deal by then.
