Paris Saint Germain will look to make an offer for Roma centre back , according to Mediaset.

The TV station say the French club are believed to be seeking to strengthen their back-line with a move for the Greek international.

Arsenal were said to have bid £34.6 million for Manolas in the summer before signing Shkodran Mustafi from Valencia instead. Whether they are still interested in the 25-year-old, it is uncertain.

Italian newspaper the Corriere Dello Sport has said that , Arsenal and were the three main contenders for Manolas with Roma seemingly resigned to seeing the defender leave in the summer.

It now looks however that a fourth name in PSG will be involved in the bidding process. With Arsenal having recently signed up to a new contract, it seems unlikely that the Gunners will be at the front of the queue for Manolas but with there being still question marks over the future of , it could mean that could be tempted to sign another high calibre centre-half.
