Juventus have made an increased offer for Schalke 04 left-back Sead Kolasinac, according to reports.
Having lost the services of Patrice Evra to Marseille this month, the Serie A leaders are believed to be looking to fill the void left by the Frenchman and have targeted Schalke’s 23-year-old Bosnian.
Over a fortnight ago, reports in Italy claimed Juve offered the Bundesliga club €4million (£3.40m) which was quickly turned down. But Transfermarketweb.com now say the Italian side have tabled an increased offer of €5.5million (£4.68m). The offer is likely to be rejected as Schalke are determined to keep hold of the full-back until the end of the season. However, Kolasinac, whose contract expires over the summer, may push for a move away before the January transfer window closes on Tuesday night.
Arsenal have been linked with a move for the Bosnian in recent weeks, and Chelsea are also believed to be interested in the left-back’s services.
