Paris Saint-Germain’s director of football Patrick Kluivert is attempting to lure Alexis Sanchez away from Arsenal, reports The Sun.

The Chile international has entered the final 18 months of his current deal at the Emirates and has yet to put pen to paper on an extension.

His contract has very much become the topic of interest at Arsenal in the past few months, with many of the fans fearing he could be on his way out if the player’s wage demands are not met.

Sanchez has shown his frustration in recent games, most noticeably during and after the 3-3 draw to Bournemouth earlier in the week, leaving many believing he is unsettled at the club. Knowing this, many of Europe’s elite clubs have taken notice and have been linked with a summer swoop for the 28-year-old, one team being French giants PSG, who are monitoring his situation very closely.

It’s believed the Ligue 1 outfit will engineer a move for the striker at the end of the season if he hasn’t signed a new deal by then.

Sanchez may be awaiting the outcome of Arsene Wenger’s future before committing his to Arsenal. The Frenchman’s deal expires at the end of the current campaign and although he has claimed he will wait until spring to decide, there’s no guarantee that he will sign a new deal to remain in charge of the north London club.
