Arsenal have made a ‘concrete’ approach for Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko, according to reports in France.

The 22-year-old has been in impressive form for the Ligue 1 club this season and is said to be on many of the top European clubs’ radar.

It’s thought Manchester United, who were recently linked with a £40 million January bid, Chelsea, and Liverpool, who have also made an approach for the player, are keen on the the young midfielder’s services.

However, Monaco are determined to keep hold of Bakayoko at least until the end of the season.

Although Manchester United and Chelsea have been linked with a move, Le10Sport claim its Arsenal and Liverpool who have made the first move for the former Rennes man by making a ‘concrete’ approach to sign the defensive midfielder. It’s believed the Premier League duo have made contact with Monaco over the possibility of a January transfer, but they have been told by the French club that there is no chance of this happening.
