Mathieu Debuchy
The 31-year-old has been made obsolete since the emergence of Hector Bellerin. Long-term injuries haven’t helped his cause of course, but Bellerin’s fine form and impressive displays in the past couple of seasons have kept out the experienced Frenchman, who eventually sealed a loan move away in order to gain first-team football.
He has made just one appearance so far this season for Arsenal, this coming against the 3-1 home win over Bournemouth nearly a fortnight ago but only lasted 16 minutes after picking up another injury.
I don’t see any reason for Arsenal to offer him a new deal as he has been a forgotten man for such a long time. He wouldn’t be missed, and I believe if Arsenal can sell him then they should.
