Arsene Wenger is ready to send Rob Holding out on loan next month.

Neil Moxley from the Sunday People claims a host of Championship clubs are considering a move for the England Under-21 international, who joined the Gunners over the summer from Bolton.

Holding has made seven appearances in all competitions for Arsenal so far, starting three Premier league games.

However, with the likes of Gabriel, Laurent Koscielny and Shkodran Mustafi ahead of Holding, Wenger is now keen for the young defender to taste regular first-team football in the Championship.

Due to a defensive shortage, Holding started Arsenal’s opening day defeat to Liverpool and has since made a further two in the Premier League, with the rest of his appearances coming in cup competitions.

A loan move a way would be ideal for Holding this January as his opportunities are limited at Arsenal, and a Championship side would allow him to get further game time under his belt.
