BT Sport pundit and former England striker Michael Owen says that one of Manchester City, Chelsea or Liverpool will win the Premier League title this season.

Speaking to the Warrington Guardian at the opening of a new BT call centre in the town, Owen says he believes the Gunners will only be able to replicate the top four finish in the league they have managed over the past decade:

‘Man United had a bit of a dip and so did Man City, with Chelsea all of a sudden starting to do very well. As we stand I think it is going to be Man City, Chelsea or Liverpool. I think Man United are too far away potentially to win it and think Arsenal will be similar to what they have been in the last decade.’

After 2-1 reversals against both Everton and Manchester City over the past week, the Gunners now find themselves in fourth place, nine points behind league leaders Chelsea heading into a packed festive season fixture list.

With matches coming up against the likes of West Bromwich Albion and Crystal Palace at home as well as Bournemouth away in the space of eight days, maximum points is required to stay within touching distance with the top of the table going into the New Year.
