Monaco left-back Ruben Vinagre is being tracked by Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester City, according to the Record newspaper, and could now be available for transfer in the January transfer window.

The Portuguese publication report that the 17-year-old returned to his parent club after FIFA failed to give him permission to play on loan at Academica.

The player is however highly-rated at the Ligue One side, and the most likely outcome is that Vinagre will be offered another opportunity to go out on loan and gain first-team experience.

He is a Portuguese Under-18 international and originally came through the academy at Sporting Lisbon before moving to Monaco on a free transfer in July 2015.

He has yet to play for the French club though, and he will no doubt be frustrated with the events of this season after returning to Portugal and then not being able to play because of administrative problems with his player registration.
