Arsenal looked to have lost out to Everton for the signing of Charlton winger Ademola Lookman.
According to the Independent, the 19-year-old is set to join the Merseyside club next month in a £11 million deal.
Lookman has attracted the attentions of several clubs with his performances for the Addicks this season. He has made a total of 22 appearances in all competitions so far, netting six goals along the way.
Arsenal, Crystal Palace and Celtic have been credited with interest in the England Under-20 international, but are all yet to make a move for the highly-rated youngster.
It remains to be seen whether the Gunners will make a bid for Lookman when the January transfer window opens next month, but it seems unlikely, as Arsene Wenger already has Olivier Giroud and Lucas Perez as back-up to Alexis Sanchez, and Danny Welbeck is not far from a return to the first-team set-up.
