Arsenal are among the clubs interested in signing Roma centre-back Kostas Manolas, if the Greek international fails to agree a new contract with the Italian side, reports tuttomercatoweb.com.

Manolas has a deal that runs until 2019 but according to the Italian website, Manolas is unhappy with the current salary he is on.

The 25-year-old would like a deal worth £2.5 million a season (approximately £49,000 a week), but Roma are only prepared to pay him half that amount currently.

If talks do stall, the Gunners, Chelsea, Manchester City and Barcelona could be prepared to make a move for the player.

Manolas has been a regular under manager Luciano Spalletti this campaign, starting 15 matches for the Giallorossi in Serie A, and also making another five appearances in European competitions.

He has featured in the Serie A club’s Champions League qualifications campaign, and in the Europa League group stages as they qualified for the last 32 of the tournament.
