When Arsene Wenger signed Lucas Perez from Deportivo in the summer transfer window many Gunners fans were hoping that it’d be a inspired choice.
Few really knew what to expect from the Spaniard but they felt that that unknown quantity could be a good thing and that Premier League defences would not know how to deal with him.
Unfortunately, that has not happened and the Gunners have had to settle with Alexis Sanchez as the main striker with Olivier Giroud off the bench.
Now, whilst they are not poor options to have the fact that they and Perez are the only options Arsenal have had the moment in the striking roles is still a matter of worry for Gunners fans.
If Sanchez gets injured, for example, it could be a disaster and many would like Arsene Wenger to sign another forward in January.
