Riechedly Bazoer’s agent has revealed he’s in transfer talks with four clubs over his client, one of which COULD be Arsenal, who have been linked with the Ajax starlet in recent times.
The 20-year-old is highly-regarded at the Amsterdam club and is also viewed as one of Europe’s brightest prospects.
Former Arsenal midfielder Marc Overmars, who is now the director of football at Ajax, says that he has not received any formal offers for Bazoer, but the youngster’s agent and brother insists he has held talks with AC Milan and three other clubs.
He told AD:
‘I have contact with four clubs and asked them to devise a plan for Bazoer. AC Milan is one of them.’
Bazoer, who has already made 51 Eredivise appearances and been capped six times for Holland, made it clear back in January that he had no intention of leaving Ajax, but it now appears he may be ready to depart when the winter window opens after falling down the pecking order this season.
It remains to be seen whether Arsenal are indeed one of the other three clubs interested, but reports earlier in the year did suggest that they were keeping tabs on the midfielder after several scouting missions in Holland.
Other clubs that have been credited with interest are Liverpool and Barcelona.
