It looks as though Arsenal had a good transfer window in the end this Summer.
After all the worry about not signing players Arsene Wenger bought the likes of Shkodran Mustafi, Granit Xhaka and Lucas Perez to the club with the first two, in particular, looking like good signings.
Mustafi, arriving from Valencia, has forged a solid looking partnership with Laurent Koscielny at the back and you have to say, with it being early days, that understanding should only get better with time.
Meanwhile Granit Xhaka has come in to compete with Francis Coquelin to start alongside Santi Cazorla ensuring the holding position for the Gunners is stronger than ever, something they needed to do.
