Arsenal have been sending scouts to watch young Toulouse goalkeeper Alban Lafont in recent weeks according to French newspaper L’Equipe.
The Gunners have scouts across Europe looking for the next big talent, with the North London side putting a real emphasis on bolstering their youth ranks over recent times.
Lafont is only 17 years old but he made his debut for the Ligue 1 side last year and now plays on a regular basis for the French side.
Born in Burkina Faso, the teenage stopper has taken on France at national level and is already an under-17 international.
Arsenal are currently blessed with goalkeepers, with Arsene Wenger recently stating that both Petr Cech and David Ospina were world-class operators in their position.
The Gunners also have Wojciech Szczesny out on loan for the second consecutive season at Roma, with it remaining to be seen whether the Poland international has a future at the Emirates Stadium.
