Arsenal defender Mathieu Debuchy will not get his wish to go out on loan this season due to an injury scaring off potential suitors, according to The Mirror.
The former Newcastle United right-back has slipped down the pecking order at the Emirates Stadium following the emergence of Hector Bellerin.
This has left France international Debuchy on the fringes, with a loan move to Bordeaux in the second half of last season granted to offer the defender more regular first-team football.
The experienced full-back is facing another campaign of limited action at the Emirates Stadium, with a move away from the North London club needed if Debuchy is to get a chance to play.
However, it is believed that the defender will struggle to find a loan suitor before the transfer window closes on Wednesday due to a new injury keeping him on the sidelines for the time being and potential suitors being scared off as a result.
