Arsenal came away from the Liberty Stadium yesterday with all three points.
But who was your Man of the Match?
Here is my Arsenal player ratings:
Petr Cech – Commanding, confident and reliable when called on. 7/10
Hector Bellerin – Showed his desire and commitment by busting a gut to block Bafetimbi Gomis’ effort in the first-half. Improving game by game. 7/10
Per Mertesacker – Some bad positioning led to some Swansea chances but recovered after. 6/10
Laurent Koscielny – Was superb at both ends of the field and put the Gunners up 2-0 by being in the right place at the right time. 7.5/10
Nacho Monreal – Kept Andre Ayew quiet and wasn’t really troubled throughout. 7/10
Francis Coquelin – Effective at breaking up play and starting moves from his defensive midfield role. 6/10
Santi Cazorla – Didn’t look heavily involved but kept things neat and tidy in midfield. 6/10
Joel Campbell – Good movement with the ball but struggled to make an impact until he slotted home Arsenal’s third. 6.5/10
Mesut Ozil – Although it looked like he wasn’t even on the pitch, the German bagged all three assists. 7/10
Alexis Sanchez – Ran his socks off but the final product just wasn’t there. 6/10
Olivier Giroud – Sluggish first half for the Frenchman but got better as the game wore on. Showed good link-up play and recovered from his knock to head home the opener. 7/10
SUBS
Calum Chambers – On for Giroud in the 83rd minute. With the game wrapped up, Arsene Wenger put the youngster on to get the cleansheet. 5/10
Kieran Gibbs – Replaced Campbell in 83rd minute. Got a few touches on the ball. 5/10
Alex Iwobi – On for Ozil with a minute to spare. 5/10
Peter Cech, he was a threat to Gomis and the rest. If we had conceded the first goal, the game would be different.
Ozil 7 is a bit underapreciated. He’s working hard in 2nd half and produce 2 ASSIST! At least he gets 7.5
