Arsene WengerHere are my Arsenal player ratings from tonight’s 5-1 battering to Bayern Munich:

Petr Cech – Made a few good saves early on and could do nothing about any of the five goals we conceded. 6/10

Mathieu Debuchy – Was run ragged by Bayern’s wingers and looked off the pace all night. 4.5/10

Per Mertesacker – Poor positioning and closing down led to Bayern’s second goal. Couldn’t handle the German sides pace. 5/10

Gabriel – Struggled to keep Robert Lewandowski quiet and poor communication led to the Pole being on side to score the opener. Had better games. 4.5/10

Nacho Monreal – Handled the threat of Douglas Costa a lot better than Hector Bellerin did last time around but still endured a torrid night, with at least two goals coming from his side. 5/10

Francis Coquelin – Pushed further up the field than usual which led to Thiago having the freedom of the midfield to pick his play. Did ok. 5/10

Santi Cazorla – Always looked to make things happen but his final ball and finishing at certain points of the game were disappointing. Lost the ball outside the box which led to Bayern’s third. 5/10

Joel Campbell – Made some decent runs forward and movement off the ball was good but failed to make an impact, resulting in his exclusion from the game in the 58th minute. 5/10

Alexis Sanchez – Ran his socks off but delayed passes and held the ball for too long at times. Set up Giroud’s goal. 5.5/10

Mesut Ozil – Looked like the only player who was up for the game, getting on the ball and trying to make things happen with his precise passing. 6.5/10

Olivier Giroud – Held the ball up well and brought those around him to play when in possession. Scored a lovely volley having controlled a high cross from Sanchez on his chest. 6.5/10

SUBS:

Kieran Gibbs – Came on for Campbell just before the hour mark to offer support to Monreal on the left flank. It didn’t work though as Bayern netted a couple more goals after his introduction. 5/10

Alex Iwobi – Replaced Giroud in the 84th minute. Don’t think he touched the ball. N/A

Calum Chambers – On for Cazorla with three minutes left to go. Like Iwobi, didn’t get involved. N/A

Hopefully you didn’t use your Ladbrokes bonus on an Arsenal win!

Like i said before the game Debuchy and Mertisacker should never play for Arsenal again! Wenger has confidence in terrible players? Get rid!!! We cannot blame the the front 6 Alexis looked so tired and Giroud was isolated. Our injuries are gonna cost us again by looks of things. Something gotta change!!!
